JCIN Online access to Johnson County Real Estate Information
JCIN has been developed to provide authorized businesses access to public Real Estate Tax Roll and Appraisal information. Tax roll information includes owner name and address, property address, legal description, valuation and class code, general taxes and special assessments, improvement features, tax unit number, parcel number and sales information.
Users must be approved by the Systems Management Committee, must sign the JCIN License agreement, the Kansas Open Records Act Form and pay the originating and user fees. Connect time fees will be billed monthly.
JCIN is for authorized users only. Data is provided “as is” with Johnson County disclaiming any representation or warranty as to the completeness or accuracy of the data.
All users are subject to the Kansas Open Records act (K.S.A. 21-3914), which states the following:
“No person shall knowingly sell, give or receive, for the purpose of selling or offering for sale, any property or service to persons listed therein, any list of names and addresses contained therein, or derived from public records.”
Violators of this law are subject to prosecution and imprisonment.
Sign-up and Billing
If you are interested in getting started with the JCIN system, enter the name of your company and address on the first page of the “Licensing Agreement” in the blank spaces. Complete the Security Access form and an “Open Records” form (Exhibit A - for each user). A printed copy of these documents must be submitted to the Department of Records and Tax Administration for approval. The fees are $60.00 per quarter. New licenses will be prorated, please contact RTA for subscription price.

Availability
Beginning on May 22nd, Real Estate Tax Roll and Appraisal information will be available from 7:30 a.m. to
5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The system will automatically cut off access if
there is no activity after ten (10) minutes. Please read the notes on
disconnecting to reduce any Internet problems.
